​Bennett is our singleton puppy out of Marty and Nita.  From the moment he entered the world, we knew there was something special about this young boy pup. His constant smiling and total ease in his whelping box and puppy pen had us watching him and as he continued to age, we knew he had to stay with us.  

We took Bennett to Scottsdale for a 3-day dog show weekend when he was 4 months and 1 week old and entered him in the Beginner Puppy competition.  Having never been in a handling class and only practiced "running around in circles" with his cousins Banner and Nikki before they went to their new homes, two judges found great favor in our young lad.  Mrs. Edith Hanson awarded him Best of Breed and Puppy Group 1 and judge Mr. Mark Cocozza awarded him Best Beginner Puppy In Show.

Bennett proved himself worthy of the show ring again later that same year and he won the Puppy Herding Group one day and the Bred By Exhibitor Group the following day in Long Beach. Recently, Bennett was Winners Dog for a 5-point major and a 4-point major during the Mission Circuit with entries supported by our Southern California Bouvier des Flandres Club. Our "B Boy" also won the Bred By Exhibitor class and Best Bred By Exhibitor at the NorCal Bouvier specialty the day before our 2017 National Specialty began and was awarded the Bob Hanley Memorial Trophy. Bennett finished his Championship on December 10, 2017 at the Shoreline Dog Fanciers Association in Costa Mesa by going Winners Dog and Best of Winners under judge Mrs. Terry Carter from Canada. 

In addition to his sound movement, he has a very sweet nature about him and is a great ambassador for the breed.  He also enjoys playing ball like his grandfather and mother, but is much calmer, so he also gets to play with his grandfather's Beloved Ball. Like his mother, he never loses sight of it and always returns it to our feet.

Bennett is owned and bred by Jim and Chan Kuhn, Pilar and Rod and lives full time at The Ottcienda.
