​Murphy was one of our Bond babies and went to live nearby with an older friend of ours. In the summer of 2018, we asked our friend and colleague Karen Bruneau if she would take on bi-weekly grooming appointments to help get Murphy ring-ready and also to keep an eye on our dear co-owner. 

In December 2018 at his first weekend of shows, Murphy was awarded Reserve Winners Dog his first day and then the next day surprised us all by going Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best of Breed over specials, AND won a Group 4! We were elated.

Murphy cruised on to another 4-point major during the Silver Bay Kennel Club weekend, but that weekend his owner went into the hospital and never came home. He went to stay with Karen full-time and unfortunately, Murphy's owner passed away on March 10, 2019. 

With "Team Murphy" working together, Karen's dear English Cocker friends fell in love with him and they spent a trial weekend together at the end of May. Murphy now has a new home with loving owners and his own little pack of sporting dogs to play with. We are truly elated at how this young dog brought so many wonderful people together through trying times. He has a story to continue to tell and hearts to warm and we are incredibly thankful. ​
