Born February 20, 2014

OFA Heart, Eyes, Elbows - Normal

Jack was one of our "miracle litter" boys. Bone and substance from his mother. Gorgeous head, coat, and showmanship from his father. We enjoyed watching this young boy grow up.  He earned his Canine Good Citizen title and finished his Grand Championship. He also fell in love with lure coursing and picked up his first Coursing Ability Title on November 8, 2015.

His first weekend competing, he was awarded Winners Dog for his first point from the 6-9 month puppy class.  At the National Specialty, he won his sweepstakes class under judge Dana Massey and at the Northern Illinois Bouvier des Flandres Club specialty the day following the national, he was awarded Best Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes.

In May 2015, Jack was awarded Winners Dog for a 5 point major at the SCBdFC Specialty under judge Mr. Garry Newton and later that weekend he went on to go Winners Dog and Best of Winners for a 3 point major under judge Mr. Carl Gene Liepmann at the Los Encinos Kennel Club and Winners Dog at the Antelope Valley Kennel Club under judge Mr. James G. Reynolds.

At the Kennel Club of Pasadena the last weekend of May 2015, Jack earned his final points for his championship under judge Colonel Joe Purkhiser and became Danica's 1st champion and Garrison's 6th champion. On December 12, 2016, Jack completed the requirements for his Grand Championship by winning Best of Breed under judge Colonel Joe Purkhiser. Obviously this judge found favor in our boy dog twice during his show career.

Jack spent the first year of his life and his trek toward his Championship with Scott and Jeanette Paton, but as first-time Bouvier owners challenged with living with a strong-minded male Bouvier, they ultimately decided it was in Jack's best interest to return to the Ottcienda.  We are forever grateful to the Patons for their love and raising of the big puppy. Jack later lived with Don Taylor who had years of extensive experience training dogs for schutzhund and obedience. We are thankful for Don's dedication to our Jack Dog, kept him healthy and mentally engaged in the ways our Big Guy needs. Unfortunately we lost this boy in July 2020.
