All grown up, Lexie Arleen, as her owners Carol and Tim McElheney like to call her, represented beautifully at the SoCal Bouvier specialty and Mission Circuit all-breed shows in Pomona, CA the last weekend of May 2018. With handler Moira Hanley-Cornell, she earned an Award of Merit at the specialty. Then with supported entries at the all-breeds every day, Lexie was awarded Select Bitch three of the four days and Best Opposite Sex one day under judge Mrs. Sulie Greendale-Paveza to complete her Grand Championship.

She was our Miss Pink in Misty's first litter. A feisty, yet lovely, lass in this litter with so many wonderful things about her as a little lady, we knew she needed to be in the ring to represent the breed and remain in our breeding program. Carol and Tim have worked diligently with her on obedience and other ways to work her brain while handler Adrian and Trina Ghione groomed her and showed her for the McElheneys to her Championship. While working toward her Championship, Miss Lexie picked up a 5-point major during the big Louisville Cluster in March 2017 by going Winners Bitch under judge Mr. Walter J. Sommerfelt. She finished her championship with two more major wins and 4 Best of Breed wins during the Mt. Ogden Kennel Club cluster in early May 2017. At the ABdFC 2017 National Specialty, Carri Beaver handled Lexie to win an Award of Merit under judge Ms. Marcia Proud and we are all very proud of Miss Lexie.

Lexie lives in northern California and is co-owned by Rod and Pilar.
