Dany was one of our favorite girls from our Sonic x Nita litter and went to live with one of our co-owners on the east coast. With a great co-ownership relationship, Dany came back to the Ottcienda in December 2019 to finish up her health tests and start working on her AKC Championship. Since there was another "Dani" in the house (Danica the Bouvier), her nickname morphed into Dany2... and then "Tutu".

Her first weekend out, she went Reserve Winners Bitch from the Bred By class at Palm Springs and the next say was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for a 4 point major. At every show after that (and before shows were temporarily shut down due to COVID-19), she was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners and finished her championship the first day of a 4-day weekend in Logan, UT. As a "move up" Special, Tutu was awarded Best Opposite Sex two of the days and Best of Breed one day and made the cut in the group.

Realizing that she really had something  "special" about her, Roberta, Pilar, and Rod decided to try her out in the ring on a regular basis. Pilar and Tutu flew to Florida for the AKC National Championship 2020 and was awarded an Award of Merit. Pilar flew Tutu to Texas January 2021 to transition her over to professional handlers David and Jennifer Harper.

During 2021 with the Harpers, "Tutu" was awarded Select Bitch at Westminster, qualified for the Top 20 at the ABdFC National Specialty, won Awards of Merit at both the National and Parent specialties, picked up multiple breed and group wins AND Best in Shows, and topped off the year by winning Best of Breed 4 of the 5 days in Orlando, including the AKC National Championship and made the cut in a HUGE and packed Herding Group, and finished as the #1 Bouvier Bitch in the U.S. for 2021.

Dany Tutu returned to The Ottcienda at the beginning of 2022 and showed upon occasion. She was awarded Best in Specialty Show at the Northeastern Illinois Bouvier des Flandres Club, Best Opposite Sex at the 50th Anniversary Show of the Southern California Bouvier des Flandres Club, Owner-Handled Best In Show at the Burbank Kennel Club, and qualified for the American Bouvier des Flandres Club's Top 20 and represented well.

Dany Tutu is bred by Jim and Chan Kuhn, Pilar and Rod, is owned by Roberta Hagen and Pilar and Rod, and while her full time home is on the east cost, we are honored with how she represented La Chanson in the show ring in 2021 and will hopefully have a litter of puppies in 2023.
